Utage Douraku

Information

Utage Doraku(道楽宴 Doraku Utage) serves as a supporting character. She is Kanade Amakusa's homeroom teacher who previously suffered from the Absolute Choice curse just like him, but she broke her curse and now gives Kanade tips on how to break his curse. Also, she isn't a loli.

Appearance

Utage has the appearance of a very young girl (that Kanade Amakusa describes her as a "legal loli") with butt-length bright pink hair that has a small section of her hair is tied into a ponytail by a blue bow on the left side of her head with an ahoge and green eyes.

She tends to wear casual clothing, such as a long-sleeved t-shirt under a short sleeved shirt, a semi-short skirt and she is sometimes seen with a small lollipop in her mouth.

Personality

Utage has a rough and rather crude personality who speaks in a casual tone.

She claims that "Absolute Choice" messed up her personality, and that she used to be more polite and reserved, however Kanade says there's no way that's true.

Biography

Past

Utage attended Seikou Private School in her youth, she suffered from Absolute Choice curse. According to her, she had a boy helper who gave her useful tips about the curse and he was good with house work. She was able to complete all of the absurd missions given by God and eventually got rid of the curse. Because of this, she seems to have a lot of knowledge about the curse. Unfortunately for her though, even if the curse have been lifted, there were still some shackles left. Whenever she tries to share the information on how to end the curse, she will get painful headaches.

In the series

After Kanade Amakusa entered the school, he suffered from the curse as well and usually ends up making a fool of himself as Utage helps cover it up.

Etymology

The name Utage means "feast, banquet" (宴).
Utage's surname Douraku means "hobby, pastime, dissipation" (道楽).

Students

Kanade Amakusa

Kanade is one of her students in her homeroom class. Besides Chocolat, she is one of the few people aware of his curse and his reasons for his actions due to having went through it herself.

She often covers for him whenever some missions get out of hand however, she will still punish him should said missions affect her such as when she hit for calling her chest flat due to his curse, might have hidden feelings for him .

Utage is actually 29 years old.
Utage claims herself as the "Dullahan of the Mountain Pass".
Utage is apparently a former pro-wrestler that she even once used a choke hold on Kanade Amakusa during homeroom.
Despite her appearance, Utage knows how to drive and many people claims her as a "headless driver", but it was just that they couldn't see her head.
Utage has knowledge of the forget all that happened in the last five minutes pressure point and was the one who taught Furano Yukihira how to use it.
